Customers Fault Description : The start button not working
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be responding from its power on button.
When the facia was peeled back a mass of corrosion was found over much of hte PCB. The print around the power button was repaired which restored power but the other buttons would not respond.
Eventually when another similar control arrived a full side by side test was carried out which revealed a few more microscopic breaks in the print, these were reworked which restored full functionality.
