Powrtouch Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Powrtouch
Customers Fault Description : Remote ceased to operate partway through moving the caravan. The ON light no longer shows.
This caravan mover controller arrived safely and on testing with the supplied battery was confirmed to be dead. A replacement battery was fitted and immediately the control sprung to life without the power buttons being pressed.
This was due to a short in the button array causing the remote to be permanently on and effectively draining any power source.
The facia was peeled back and cleaned of all contaminants which restored full functionality.
