Customer's Fault Description
Stopped communicating with gas fire receiver unless very very close I.e almost touching
Have tried new batteries but no success
This fireplace handset and corresponding receiver arrived safely and on inspection the remote had a faulty battery cable and also the US tranduscer looked like someone had had a go at soldering it as there was lots of burn marks and solder splashed around the entire circumference.
The battery cable was replaced and the transducer replaced which restored normal functionality.
