Customer's Fault Description
Some buttons worked, namely power, volume buttons, store and function selector keys. Other buttons would work intermittently. NOW all buttons are inoperative.

 

This Cyrus controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be responding on any button press.

This was due to a faulty IR LED, this was replaced which restored functionality to most buttons.  There was then found that the button array had worn down.  Much of the print was reworked using conductive paint.  This restored full functionality.
