Velux 833212 Remote Repair Details
This Velux control arrived safely and on adding a power source was confirmed to be dead.
On opening the issue was found to be a small amount of contamination from a leaking battery that was shorting a few components.
The PCB was cleaned up using alcohol which restored power. The item then powered up. The display does have signs of wear (faint lines on the display), this does not effect functionality and cannot be improved due to a replacement display being required.
The language that the control is set to is Swedish, if this is not the required language then the item will need to be reset and repaired with its corresponding receiver.
