Customer's Fault Description
After a 'water accident' the remote appeared completely dead. After a week of drying out it now activates and turns on the system / television etc. Though after a few minutes to a few hours it then shuts down, turning the Bose system as well. It will then not work again until eh batteries are removed and re-inserted
This Bose lifestyle system controller arrived safely and on inspection was found to have contamination on some button pads and array cover. The board was cleaned up using alcohol.
As this control is paired with its corresponding receiver the customer must test this item upon its return.
