Customer's Fault Description
Works to turn on but not off. If it is warmed up with a hair dryer it works on and off but stops once it cools down

 

This faber gas fire remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a faulty channel.  The 40khz crystal was replaced which is the usual suspect and the item did work for a few hours bud sadly the fault returned.  Sadly each time a meter is moved close to the receiver for testing the item would start to work again.  Sadly due to this issue the fault cannot be repaired.
