Customer's Fault Description
This belongs to my Mum (92 years), who describes the remote control unit as 'unresponsive, and makes a funny noise. Often takes a long time to get it to actually light the fire.'We have changed the battery, but problem persists.

 

This fireplace control arrived safely and on testing was found to have a couple of issues, the first was a damaged battery cable and the second issue was that two of the buttons had collapsed.

All three buttons were replaced as well as the battery cable which restored full functionality.
