Remote doesn’t operate receiver, if I hold it touching the infar remote to the receiver it works. Reading one of your reviews, it would appear to of lost its signal strength. I will send both remote & receiver.

 

This fireplace control and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote itself was not transmitting on either channel.  This was due to a faulty ultrasonic transducer in the handset itself.

This was replaced which restored full functionality.

The receiver was found not to be faulty and functioning as normal.
