Customer's Fault Description
Remote control will not turn fire off or control the temperature when in auto. It will stil turn the fire on when in Auto or manual. The timer function turns the fire on but does not turn it off.

 

This control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to have any signal being emitted from the down channel.

This was due to a faulty 40khz crystal, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
