Dru Mertic Maxitrol g30 Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Dru
Model : Mertic Maxitrol g30
Customers Fault Description : The black wire on the remote has become detached. The button when pressed turns the fire on may be sticking- I experienced a situation where the remote would not turn off the fire so when I turned off manually the fire automatically restarted suggesting ? that the on button was stuck? I've also included the receiver, as advised, to check for any faults.
This remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection the battery cable in the remote was confirmed to be broken, this was replaced and then when tested the remote itself was randomly sending a signal without a button being pressed.
This random issue was due to the button itself being faulty, both were replaced which restored normal functionality.
No problem was found with the receiver.
