Customer's Fault Description
Used to cut out at random intervals and not work. Now does not work at all. Tried replacing batteries. Red sensor light flashes when you put new batteries in and then nothing. Have left batteries out.

This Samsung remote arrived safely and on testing was only transmitting on the standby button and the LED would flash all the time.

At first it was thought that a button contact was shorted so the control was opened and all of the button array and corresponding pads were cleaned up but the issue remained whereby it would only transmit using the standby button 

After a thorough search it was found that the "coding" was scrambled meaning that the remote was not "programmed" properly. The control was reset which then showed that all buttons would transmit an infra red signal (see testing video)

IMPORTANT - This remote will need to be re-paired with the customers television by the customer. (See Repairing video below for the simple instructions on how to do this)
