Customers Fault Description : The motor button/knob when pressing the remote control goes to the bottom but will not return to the top and when you press the remote control to return it back to the top it just clicks and stays at the bottom.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This fireplace controller and receiver arrived safely and on testing was found to be working as normal. The items were tested over a period of 3 days to test when cold / warm but no fault could be replicated.
The issue could be either so intermittent or it is possible that the motor / gear assembly in the fire could be at fault. Also it might be possible that the power source was low therefore it is recommended that the customer test the receiver with brand new batteries installed (please only use quality batteries such as Duracell as cheaper ones may not be able to power the motor when under strain)
