The toggle Button has broken off, so though the remote works ok, without the toggle it’s pretty much defunct.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This BMW remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing and also the select switch was missing.  Sadly a replacement switch was not available as a spare and the only switch that was available was a rocker as seen in the pictures below.

This protrudes a fair bit from the case as it cant be counter sank due to issues where the PCB is in place where the switch is required to be fitted.

The switch now switches between the 2 functions.
