Customers Fault Description : There are only 4 buttons and the main problem is the button on the bottom left. It does work but can be very inconsistent. The connection from the 2 cables to the the battery are also not affixed (soldered) properly. Celotape is also holding the casing together at present. Thanks
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This fireplace SIT controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery clip was broken on the battery cover and it was held on by tape.
On testing the buttons and battery cable were faulty, these were replaced which restored full functionality.
Sadly the battery covers are not available as spares but do not effect functionality and can be held on by tape. The case of the control was cleaned up and the battery cover re-taped into position.
