Power Wheel Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Power Wheel
Customers Fault Description : All buttons working but only when connected to cable minus battery in remote,otherwise remote not sending/receiving signal and remains dead.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This caravan motor mover control arrived safely and on testing was not responding properly from its button press. This was caused by a common issue whereby the button pads wear down causing intermittent functions.
Replacement button caps were glued on each button pad which restored full conductivity to all buttons.
An RF signal is present although it does seem slightly weaker than normal, the customer is requested to test with the receiver upon receipt.
