Customers Fault Description : Does not work after battery change

This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing the buttons were sluggish. On opening there were 2 issues, the first being that the button pads were worn and the second was that the oscillator was faulty. The oscillator was replaced and replacement button caps fitted on each button. This restored full functionality.
