Over a period of one year, it’s performance has been unpredictable. Now, it does not work at all.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This electric heater control arrived safely and on testing was found to be working as per normal operation.

The remote was opened and there was some contamination on the button array, this was cleaned up but more importantly the PCB was warped slightly, this might have caused a crack in the print under the IC resin (if this is the case a repair would not be possible), as a fault could not be replicated its difficult to say if this item will continue to work in the future, because of this a replacement cloned remote has been provided that is confirmed working as a backup. (see image at bottom of page for details about the clone controller provided)
