PDT PDTKF04 - 433RC Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The older one has been working lately, but you have to squeeze it, tap it or swear at it first ..... sometimes all these ! The better condition one, is the wife’s! It just hasn’t worked for several months.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

These garage door controllers arrived safely and on inspection of the first the battery housing was away from the board, this was causing it to only work when twisted.  The housing was soldered back in to place which restored functionality.

The second control also had a miss-positioned battery housing, this was resoldered back into place but also the buttons were sluggish, this was due to tarnish over the button contacts.  They were cleaned up which restored full functionality.
