Remote not working on numerous buttons

This TV controller arrived safely and on inspection the standy button had deteriorated internally.  Also the battery compartment had signs of water corrosion.

On testing most of the buttons were non responsive.  When opened this was found to be due to many corrosion spots over the PCB from water contamination.

The print was reworked and replacement button caps fitted under the standby and tv/av buttons.  This restored full functionality.

Please note that this remote is not waterproof and great care must be taken to prevent future damage.
