Customers Fault Description : The times we live in! Some hand sanitizer leaked on to the remote and caused the malfunction. I have renewed the button batteries and tried cleaning it (the contamination of the alcohol gel key chain caused some rusting to spread into the fob). The door up command button no longer works but the down command button and the stop button do still work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This garage door controller arrived safely and on testing was found to not be responding from the third button down.
The button array was found to have contamination / corrosion on it. The board and button were cleaned up and it was then found that the corrosion had caused an open circuit for the third button. The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
