Model : KF04-433RC
Customers Fault Description : Remote stopped working, replaced batteries and made the mistake of pressing down on the battery holder forced new batteries in and one of the terminals popped out. As it stopped working before the replacement not sure if that is the only problem.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This garage door controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery housing was desoldered from the PCB on one point. One of the inserted batteries was still within its plastic housing (from the packaging) this would have made the item dead but also caused the stress on the housing causing it to break away.
The housing was soldered back into place and full functionality was restored.
