This golf trolley remote arrived safely and on adding a power source was found to have intermittent functionality. It would wither respond slowly or not at all.
This was due to a high resistance short and collapsed button cap within the facia.
The facia was peeled apart and the contacts cleaned up and 2 of the button caps were replaced. The back of the facia was also reinforced due to a break in the casing.
