Customer's Fault Description
Spoke with you on Thursday morning - the remote is not connecting with the receiver unit.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace control and receiver arrived safely and on inspection the case on the handset was badly damaged.
On testing no signal was being emmited from the remote this was due to a faulty transducer, this was replaced and then it was found that the bottom button was faulty, a small amount of contamination was found around its pins. The button was replaced which restored full functionality.
The battery cable was also loose so this was replaced to prevent future issues.
A replacement case was fitted.
No issue was found with the receiver.
