Adjustamatic Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : the wiring on the remote has become loose which may be the reason for the armchair not working. the remote is connected via a separate port. the remote is powered with a cat cable that is connected to the armchair.

This Adjustamatic remote arrived safely and on inspection the cable was damaged and the remote itself way pried open at one end.
On opening the plug that holds the cable to the board was detached from the PCB. The cable was cut back to remove the frayed portion and then soldered directly onto the main PCB.
