2 of 4 AAA batteries melted in remote. I got these out and then opened remote to get remaining bits out. I cannot get it together again properly. PLEASE NOTE BUTTONS ARE ALL LOOSE so open with them facing down ...........
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Linn controller arrived safely and on inspection the case was apart and held together by tape.

The control was tested and one of the terminals had corrosion on it which was causing a resistance and intermittent function.  The terminal was etched clean and then the control reassembled.
