This chair controller arrived safely. The control was opened and a full cable continuity test carried out which revealed no breaks but the cable grommet was broken due to repeated bending.
After talking with the customer about not being sure about a possible intermittent break it was concluded to cut the cable back to bypass any possible remote ended break. This was done as well as the button array cleaned up.
