Customers Fault Description : Poor button response
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Bang and Olufsen remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have many non responsive or sluggish buttons.
On opening there was a mass of contamination over a portion of the button array (see image). This was shorting out parts of the button array, this was cleaned up button response was restored but seems to be strange in its transmitted signal. As i am not 100% definate of a completed repair this item is classed as beyond repair (the ideal fix would be to replace the entire button array but sadly these are not available as spares)
The customer is requested to test the control fully with its receiver upon receipt.
