Customer's Fault Description
Remote stopped working. Light flashed red when buttons pressed. Fitted new batteries still did not work and red light was continually lit. Tried to pair to controller without success
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This garage door controller arrived safely and on testing was found to have erratic functions.
This was found to be due to corrosion and contamination over the button array (see image).
The print was cleaned up and the contacts etched clean which restored full functionality.
A set of batteries were also supplied.
