Customer's Fault Description
Not turning on. You fixed the same controller about a year ago. The batteries needed replacing and it now won’t work again. I’m hoping you can fix it again
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This shower controller arrived safely and on inspection there were cracks found in the casing (see image), this allows moisture to enter the controller and care must be taken to prevent water damage.
On testing the control was found to be dead and also the plastic screen cover was loose (again this could allow water to enter the item)
On opening there was a SMD resistor laying around loose inside, the placeholder was eventually located and the resistor refitted which restored full functionality.
