Revo Super signal Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The remote stopped working it had a noise like something had come loose inside. I tried to open it up to repair but I snapped it. I don’t think it’s repairable but worth the question as you can no longer order spares from revo. Thank you

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This controller arrived safely and on inspection the PCB was split in two naf had many micro cracks going through the print.  Also the main IC was missing.  Luckily the customer managed to find the IC.  The print was reworked and the IC fitted which restored full functionality.
