the remote works fine but the 9v battery in the remote goes flat in a few days if I do not remove it.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Enduro remote arrived safely and on testing was found to turn off randomly.  The battery cable had signs of corrosion (possible from a battery leak), this was causing a short across the battery contacts intermittently.

The battery cable was replaced which restored solid functionality.  The item was then tested over 2 days and the battery had no power drain.
