Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

On opening a diode was found to be shattered in two pieces.

The diode was replaced and then it was found that the IR leds would keep blowing.  Much of the PCB components were replaced but the issue remained.  A replacement PCB in its entirety was eventually fitted which restore full functionality.
