Customer's Fault Description
Exactly the same as the one on your example page. 9v battery connection broken. Failing to switch on and off intermittently and symbol constantly showing low battery despite a new battery fitted.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely from Ireland and on inspection was found to have a broken battery cable, this was replaced and then it was found that the battery indicator was erroneous.  This was due to the 7133 regulator being faulty.  A replacement regulator was fitted which restored full functionality.
