Customer's Fault Description
I think it’s just dead. At first I turned on the fire, and it went on fine, but the display was dead. I thought maybe just the display had gone out, but when I went to turn off the fire, it didn’t work. So now, I’m guessing there is something wrong with either the wiring or the board.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead. This was due to a faulty 7133 regulator. This was replaced which restored power but it was then found that the display was also faulty. Sadly this display its not available as a spare making a repair not possible.
A google search was carried out and replacements can be found here - please check with the seller!
This item was scrapped as per the customers telephone request 20th July 20201
