Customers Fault Description : Handset is ‘dead’

This remote arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to be working as normal.
After talking with the customer is was thought to check the charger. sure enough the 12v was present but then disappeared after a few seconds. After a quick check the psu was found to be fine but the UK plug adapter was loose (the internal pins). The pins were crimped to make the connection more solid, this restored a constant 12v feed.
