Customer's Fault Description
Position K- and button fan + on right not working as indicated by lack of green light when pressed. I have enclosed replacement sent through by company which does not work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
These two remotes arrived safely and on testing the original faulty control was confirmed to have two non functioning buttons.
This was due to bad joints on the main IC, the solder was reflowed which restored full functionality.
The second remote was found not to be faulty, it is most likely that this remote simply needs to be "paired" with its receiver as they are radio frequency (the IR led bulb is a red herring that is not in use and is not even connected on one of its pins).
