Customer's Fault Description
the remote has only 2 buttons, left button to lower temperature and turn off, the right button to turn on and raise temperature.
The left button now fails to work, suspect that due to my wife pushing the button too hard and for too long is the cause.
Perhaps the button inner contact has either detached or noe no longer contacting.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Faber remote was handed to us and on testing the button response was poor, normally this is due to bad button contacts but this wasn't the case.
The power drain was so high and signal was very weak. This was bypassed by changing the battery compartment to accommodate a 12v power source, the response and signal strength is now back to normal.
Please note that when picking up the remote please contact us before setting off to ensure availability.
