Customer's Fault Description
Remote controller appears "dead". Will not switch ON or OFF or allow selection of Tuner, CD player or any other source.
It did operate 2 nights ago - very delayed action- but did not do so previous 24 hours or the following night.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Cyrus 7 amplifier remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have erratic functionality.
This was found to be due to poor joints on the main IC. The solder was re-flowed which restored full functionality.
