Customer's Fault Description
I changed the batteries but it still won't connect to the fire at all. I"m presuming its a fault. I have tried to source a new control for a long time but couldn't find one, yet i've found you so fingers crossed!
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Faber remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery housing was found to be broken (see image), this was causing the remote to be dead.
The battery housing was bypassed but the signal that was present was very weak. The battery housing was replaced with a 12v version which restored a full strength signal. A Duracell 12v battery was supplied fitted on return.
