Challenge AF10000E Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Challenge

Model : AF10000E

Customers Fault Description : No response to any of the commands on the remote- there are only 6 buttons on the remote and the red LED on the remote control doesn’t come on either when any buttons are pressed (it used to)

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Portable air conditioner remote arrived safely and on adding batteries was confirmed to be totally dead.

This was found to be due to a faulty oscillator, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
