Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor move controller arrived safely and on inspection was found to be missing its fixing screws.
On testing the control was confirmed to be dead. The battery cable had been refitted prior to arrival with us and it was soldered in reverse polarity (positive to ground)
The cable was replaced but the item remained dead. When inspecting the ribbon cable for the button facia it was found that there was damage (see image), this damage looks to have been caused by the previous repair attempt prior to arrival with us.
The ribbon cable was reworked and then full functionality was restored.
