Nuflame Remote Repair Details
This fire controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
This was found to be due to broken print around the LED. The print was reworked which restored full functionality. A replacement battery cable was fitted as well as the missing fixing screw.
This remote was returned along with its receiver due to not being able to pair the remote with the receiver. After showing that the remote was transmitting a signal the customer still refused to believe that the receiver was at fault after being told by the gas engineer that the receiver was working without carrying out any diagnostic evaluation on the receivers RF circuitry! This is the reason the customer has had numerous wasted journeys and is in no way a fault of ours.
The customers receiver was then tested with a different remote which would not pair. Then to prove the fact further that the receiver is at fault a brand new receiver was purchased and then tested with the customers remote which paired without issue and also paired with the second remote without issue, this categorically proves that the issue is the receiver and nothing to do with the remote itself. The remote was working when it left our premises and has been working since. It is also important to note that no 433mhz radio signal can cause electrical faults remotely meaning the remote is not in any way responsible for any fault with the receiver.
Please also note that the date code on the customers receiver shows that it was manufactured on the 41st week of 2015 making the receiver 6 Years old! This can be found printed on the label of the receiver.
A replacement receiver can be purchased here! please check with the seller as we are not affiliated nor responsible for the receiver either old or new!
