Customers Fault Description : Touch screen does not function

This Pioneer remote arrived safely and on inspection the screen seemed to have a large amount of moisture over its face (not sure if this is condensation from being in transit but it does feel "tacky").
The touchscreen is non functioning, sadly this item is not available as a spare which makes a repair not possible.
