There is no light when switched on,have changed batteries incase that was the problem but still no power light.The battery coil looks a bit crushed?

This Truma remote arrived safely and on inspection one of the battery terminals was out of position.

The control was opened and the reason for the issues was the mounting pins for the PCB were broken meaning the PCB was loose inside the control.  The PCB was glued firmly back into place and the terminal repositioned which restored full functionality.
