Customer's Fault Description
Remote will not pair with main unit. All lights function on unit when switched on. Batteries went flat on remote. After changing, spanner symbol appeared on display.
Would not pair with main unit after pressing the spinner symbol after trying numerous times.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be stuck in service / setup mode with the spanner icon flashing.
On opening this was found to be due a large amount of corrosion over the button array caused by a battery leak.
The print was cleaned up and reworked which restored full functionality.
