Remote not working despite replacing batteries. Circuit board inside is loose.

This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

This was found to be due to a tiny amount of corrosion on one of the terminals which was causing a resistance and dropping the voltage.

The terminal was etched clean which restored full functionality.

A set of 3 batteries have been supplied fitted on return.
