Customer's Fault Description
Was syncing remote to motor mover after a long time not being used due to lockdowns. Remote initially lit up and then flashed and turned off. Thought it was batteries but tried 2 new sets and it won’t light up at all.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor move controller arrived safely and on testing initially would power up from its double power button press but after testing a few times it was found that the battery compartment was at fault. If the batteries were moved slightly the remote would lose power.
This was due to impacted positive terminals, the lip on the battery compartment for the positive terminals was slightly too thick to allow a good connection, this was remedied by slightly bending out the terminals. This restored full functionality.
