Customer's Fault Description
Water damaged when caught out in the rain. However there didn’t appear to be water in the remote so assuming it was just some moisture. When trying to use it the computer in the tractor kept stating STOP.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This bale wrapper remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be functioning as per normal.
On opening there was a mass of contamination on the backside of the ribbon connector which was causing some resistance across various pins which could cause intermittent functionality. After talking with the customer it was deduced that this was the most likeliest cause of the issues found by the customer.
