Replaced batteries. Remote not operating
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening there was a small amount of contamination under one half of the main IC. The contamination was cleared and the print reworked but sadly this did no restore functionality. It was concluded that the IC is faulty due to the contamination shorting its pins. A search was carried out for a replacement IC but no suppliers could be found making a repair not possible.
